The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) is now accepting submissions for the 2019 Next Link Project.

Ballet Hispanico will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with free events, performances, and dance lessons for children and adults. Events include an Instituto Coreografico, which will feature an inside look at Bennyroyce Royon's new work, the annual A La Calle Block Party, and a Hispanic Heritage Happy Hour.  

The New York Butoh Institute and Vangeline Theater present the New York Butoh Institute Festival 2018, a celebration of diversity in butoh featuring 16 artists from Japan, Brazil, Chile, UK, Israel, Italy, Germany, France, Costa Rica, Spain, and the United States. Curated by Butoh artist Vangeline, the Festival will consist of an exciting program of butoh workshops and masterclasses, as well as four nights of groundbreaking performances by fierce female butoh dancers from October 18-21, 2018 at the Theater for the New City's Johnson Theater, 155 1st Avenue, NYC, 10003.

An inappropriately public display of affection upends the lives of two William Blake scholars in Mickle Maher's raucous celebration of art, ardor, and academia "There is a Happiness That Morning Is", coming to Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre for eight performances only, Thursdays through Sundays from September 6 - 16, 2018.

Franklin Stage Company is pleased to present actor and US Army veteran Stephan Wolfert in an encore performance of his one-man tour de force Cry Havoc! September 1st & 2nd. This unique show, written by Mr. Wolfert and directed by Eric Tucker, artfully weaves some of Shakespeare's best known war speeches into a visceral and deeply personal account of war, trauma and healing.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is celebrating its 30th Annual Festival of New Musicals this year, and in recognition of that milestone, NAMT will host a month-long new musicals celebration this September. During New Musicals Month, NAMT will celebrate and honor the groundbreaking work their members do year-round to develop new work.

Programming for American Ballet Theatre's 2018 Fall season, October 17-28 at the David H. Koch Theater, was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie. The season will feature World Premieres by Michelle Dorrance and Jessica Lang, as well as centennial tribute performances of Jerome Robbins's and Leonard Bernstein's Fancy Free.
