San Diego Musical Theatre is thrilled to present its third and final production of its 2010-2011 season, the singular sensation, the nine-time Tony Award-winning musical, A CHORUS LINE with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, musical direction by Don LeMaster and directed and choreographed by Robert Marra (recreating Michael Bennett's original choreography).

Origin Theatre Company presents Hattie Naylor's Olivier Award-nominated play "Ivan and the Dogs" in its American premiere, beginning Thursday May 5.

The remarkable story of Ivan, a four-year-old who fled an abusive household and found sanctuary on the streets with a pack of wild dogs, is a true story ripped from the headlines. But as relived by the protagonist as a young man, 'Ivan and the Dogs' unfolds like a fairytale in which the human world lacks humanity and the animal world has it in abundance. Like the best of Grimm's this gripping story, told with lyrical wistfulness by Naylor, has a mythic resonance.

The new musical DANGEROUS BEAUTY by Jeannine Dominy (book and verse), Michele Brourman (music) and Amanda McBroom (lyrics). Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller directs a cast of twenty that is led by Jenny Powers (Broadway's Grease) as Veronica Franco. The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director) announced that full casting is complete for the new musical DANGEROUS BEAUTY by Jeannine Dominy (book), Michele Brourman (music) and Amanda McBroom (lyrics). Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller directs a cast of twenty that is led by Jenny Powers (Broadway's Grease) as Veronica Franco. Rehearsals for the world premiere musical begin December 27, 2010. The five-week limited engagement ends March 6, 2011 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue).

Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick, Jr. will star in a reimagined production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER opening fall 2011 on Broadway at a theatre to be announced. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. INVASION! - the new play by the Swedish playwright and novelist Jonas Hassen Khemiri being presented Off-Broadway by The Play Company - will play an altered performance schedule starting Monday, February 28 at Walkerspace (46 Walker St.) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Kate Loewald, Founding Producer, and Lauren Weigel, Executive Producer of The Play Company.
