A BLOCK TO BROADWAY Benefit for LIVING WITH HENRY is Tonight

Tonight, April 23, 2012 at 8:00 pm, Beyond Boundaries will present the musical theatre celebration, A Block to Broadway! Benefit at the Bathurst Street Theatre, 736 Bathurst Street, Toronto. Doors open at 7:00 pm with a silent auction and cash bar.

Cabaret A MEDICAL MEDLEY: KICKING CANCER IN THE CAN, SIR! Raises Funds Today

On Monday April 23rd, Vanessa Ragland and Sarah Ziegler will host a fundraiser cabaret for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The night will feature new works by Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair (Murder For Two), Sam Carner and Derek Gregor (Unlock'd), Adam Michael Kaufman and Martin Landry, Adam Overett, Ian Weinberger, and Oran Eldor and Sarah Ziegler. In addition to contributing new medically-themed material, Kinosian, Landry, Overett (Light in the Piazza) and Ziegler will also be performing. Other performers include Holly Buczek, Mark Campbell (Mamma Mia!), Janice Landry, Vanessa Ragland, Ari Rossen, Erin Sjostrom, and Cecelia Ticktin.

STAGE TUBE: Jared Zirilli Goes Backstage at FAT CAMP; New Interview

Jared Zirilli, a cast member of FAT CAMP (as well as Lysistrata Jones, Wicked's first National Tour, Aida at Drury Lane and more) goes backstage at FAT CAMP to collect exclusive and hilarious interviews with the show's stars and ensemble. Jazz Choreography Enterprises, Inc. Ends 'NY Jazz Choreography Project' Tonight

Jazz Choreography Enterprises, Inc. presents New York Jazz Choreography Project for its semiannual dance concert devoted exclusively to jazz. JCE features works from emerging to established choreographers, and this year, the performance will feature works from seasoned jazz veterans Sue Samuels and Crystal Chapman. Newcomers include Tyrell V. Rolle, who was featured on 'SYTYCD' in 2010, and Matt Pardo, a dancer from the Lucinda Childs Dance Company.

Vital Theatre Company Closes STINKYKIDS, THE MUSICAL Tonight

The award-winning Vital Theatre Company today announced the opening of STINKYKIDS, THE MUSICAL, with book and lyrics by Sammy Buck, music by Daniel S. Acquisto and directed by Tim Drucker, based on the books by Britt Menzies.

STINKYKIDS, THE MUSICAL Extends Through May 26 at Theatre 80

STINKYKIDS-THE-MUSICAL-MOVES-TO-THEATRE-80-20010101 The award-winning Vital Theatre Company announces the extension of STINKYKIDS, THE MUSICAL, with book and lyrics by Sammy Buck, music by Daniel S. Acquisto with direction by Tim Drucker, based on the books by Britt Menzies. Performances will be May 12th, 19th and 26th at 1pm at Theatre 80. Ella Grace's TROUBLE THE MUSICAL Set for NYMF 2012

NYMF Announces 10 Additional Musicals

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced 10 additional musical productions for their ninth annual festival. These musicals will play alongside the ten Next Link productions made public last month, as well as several productions, special events and concerts to be announced in the coming weeks. This year's Festival will begin July 9th and continue through July 29th.

KC Rep Presents LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, 4/20-5/20

Kansas City Repertory Theatre, under the artistic leadership of Eric Rosen, closes its 2011-12 season with a professional production of the popular musical Little Shop of Horrors; book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken, based on the film by Roger Corman, screenplay by Charles Griffith. Kyle Hatley directs. Little Shop of Horrors runs April 20 - May 20 at the Rep's Copaken Stage.

Chicago's ARNIE THE DOUGHNUT to Take Stage in July NYMF's Next Link Project

Chicago writing team George Howe and Frances Limoncelli announce that their family musical, Arnie the Doughnut, has been selected out of hundreds of applicants nationwide to be one of ten musicals by new voices to be presented this July in the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF).

Warner Theatre Presents Premiere of LIBERTY, 6/20-7/14

The Warner Theatre (John Bonanni, Executive Director) by special arrangement with Theresa Wozunk will present the world premiere of LIBERTY A Monumental New Musical- with book and lyrics by Dana Leslie Goldstein and music by Jon Goldstein. After years of development, Clyde 'n Bonnie: A Folktale premiered in suburban Atlanta at Aurora Theatre on March 15. Aurora Theatre first encountered the show in 2009 at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, the annual showcase of potential Broadway hits, like the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning Next to Normal.
