MOTHER JONES AND THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE - presented by The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Crystal Theatre and Benjamin Simpson - has extended its run with an additional performance on Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 PM. Broadway legend Joy Franz, who starred in the original and revival companies of Into the Woods on Broadway, is the final cast member to join Tim Realbuto's July 24th star-studded 54 Below show entitled Tim Realbuto: Alone (With Plenty of Help). Throughout the evening, each guest star will play a different person in Tim's life. Franz will play Tim's mother.
"Sing Me Home" is a new musical set to premiere at the prestigious New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) on July 20th but Los Angeles had the honor of hosting its debut at Rockwell on Sunday, July 13th. According to an Equity casting notice, FAT CAMP, the musical which ran off-Broadway in 2012, will get a developmental workshop this Fall. Scott Schwartz is set to direct the project, which will take place September 2-12.
