Arena Stage Presents THE ARABIAN NIGHTS 1/14-2/20/11

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater is delighted to present The Arabian Nights, written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman (Metamorphoses). The production, presented in association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre and Lookingglass Theatre Company, has been recognized as "Zimmerman's most theatrically complete and perfect creation" (Chicago Tribune).

A Noise Within Closes Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, 12/17

Mercedes Ruehl to star in McCarter Theatre's THE HOW AND THE WHY 1/7

McCarter Theatre (Emily Mann, Artistic Director; Timothy J. Shields, Managing Director) is pleased to announce that Academy Award, Tony and Obie Award winner Mercedes Ruehl will star in the two-character world premiere of Sarah Treem's The How and The Why. Directed by Emily Mann, the cast will also feature New Jersey native Bess Rous.

Wishcamper and Silvestein to Direct at Globe in 2011

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that Jonathan Silverstein will direct the Globe's upcoming production of Ayub Khan-Din's multi-generational comedy, Rafta, Rafta.... Henry Wishcamper, originally announced to direct Rafta, Rafta..., will helm the summer season's West Coast premiere of John Morogiello's comedy of manners, Engaging Shaw.
