Azuka Theatre will conclude its 11th season with the World Premiere of Jacqueline Goldfinger's the terrible girls, running March 17-April 3 at The Latvian Society, 531 N. 7th Street.

Judy Kent, currently represented on Broadway as a producer of Driving Miss Daisy, presents an invitation-only reading of Welcome to My Life, a new pop/rock musical with a book by Alicia Dempster and Bobby Cronin, music and lyrics by Bobby Cronin. The reading will take place on April 11, 2011 at 2pm.

PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL will move to the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center Saturday, April 2nd, 2011. Performances are Saturdays and Sundays at 11am for the opened run.

After a sold-out and critically acclaimed run at The New York International Fringe Festival, the award-winning The Umbrella Plays is back, for a limited engagement at The Tank, March 31st - April 10th.

Written by Stephanie Janssen and directed by Daniel Talbott (art. dir. Rising Phoenix Rep, Keep Your Baggage With You (at all times)), The Umbrella Plays connects six snap-shot-sized plays, each offering a glimpse into the lives of a disparate (and sometimes desperate) cast of characters, as they work their ways through inclement weather of the literal and figurative variety, searching for shelter in whatever form it can be found. The smallest and most common-place of objects, the simple umbrella, becomes the entry point into these stories, reminding us that there is more than meets the eye in the most innocuous-seeming pieces of a life, and the most fleeting of moments. Storms crash in and leave their marks, lovers are sought and lost and found again, ambitions jump the tracks and hopes get renewed, and in the swirl of these six stories, an umbrella is never, ever just an umbrella.

New York: ZOMBIE will be screened at the Cleveland International Film Festival on Friday, April 1 at 11:15 pm. Following a sold-out run at the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival in August, producing company Mind The Art Entertainment has announced that the award-winning play, The Timing of a Day, written by Owen Panettieri, will be returning in the spring of 2011 for a three-week run at Center Stage, NY (48 W. 21st Street, 4th Floor, NY, NY 10010.)

Tennessee Williams is the subject of A LONELY MAN'S HABIT, a new play performed and written by Jeremy Lawrence, inspired by the words and work of the legendary author who would have celebrated his 100th birthday last Sunday.
