The smash hit Fringe comedy NO HOMO by Brandon Baruch will receive its first full run with a new production at the Atwater Village Theatre, it was announced by Be Flat Productions and Praxis Limited. There will be two preview performances tonight, July 30 and Friday, July 31 at 8pm. Opening is set for Saturday, August 1 at 8pm and the strictly limited engagement will run through August 23.

The musical will run at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre at Culture Project (Venue #13), 45 Bleecker Street (at Lafayette) for five shows only.
When I think of NYMF, I typically think of quirky musicals that would otherwise slip through the cracks of mainstream theatre. HELD MOMENTARILY: A NEW MUSICAL, with book, music, and lyrics by Oliver Houser, fits perfectly into this box, and given its previous performance history at 2014's New York International Fringe Festival, that is no surprise.

A haunting new world premiere drama, THE REPORT, will be presented August 15 - 28 in the New York International Fringe Festival. Based on the novel by Jessica Francis Kane, THE REPORT is adapted by Martin Casella, whose THE IRISH CURSE earned the Outstanding Playwriting Award in the 2005 FringeNYC and went on to a highly acclaimed Off-Broadway run.
