Peter Friedman, Keilly McQuail, Naian Gonzalez Norvind, Robbie Collier Sublett, Joyce Van Patten and Mare Winningham will be featured in the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere of HER REQUIEM, by Greg Pierce, directed by Kate Whoriskey. HER REQUIEM will begin performances Saturday, February 6, open Monday, February 22, and run for six weeks only through Sunday, March 20 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).
'MOTHER COURAGE' will soon be missing its off-Broadway matriarch. Classic Stage Company's production of Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children began performances on December 9, starring Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins. But now BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Pinkins will be leaving the show on January 5, before its originally slated opening night on January 7. That date will now be postponed as the production's creative team hunts for a replacement.

The play interweaves two holiday classics, The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol, and creates a queer, Latino play about a gay couple who go on a psychedelic trip through their lives one Christmas Eve. The New Group has announced full casting for the company's production of Sam Shepard's Buried Child. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production will feature Larry Pine (Casa Valentina), Rich Sommer ('Mad Men'), Paul Sparks ('House of Cards') and Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), and as previously announced, Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris and Amy Madigan. The New Group announces a one-week extension for its world premiere of Steve, a new play by Mark Gerrard, directed by Cynthia Nixon. Due to demand, Steve will now play through Sunday, January 3 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street). The production, which was originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through December 27, began previews November 3 and celebrated its Official Opening Night on November 18.
