After her directorial debut with last season's RASHEEDA SPEAKING, The New Group presents her sophomore effort.

Lawrence Edelson, Producing Artistic Director of American Lyric Theater (ALT), announced today that the company's libretto workshop and upcoming presentation of THE HALLOWEEN TREE on Friday, October 30, 2015, will feature actors Glenn Seven Allen, Etai Benson, Daniel T. Curran, Jesse Geguzis, Emma Grimsley, Conor Guzman, Adam La Faci, Thia Stephan, and Rocky Vega.

The Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere of CHOICE by award-winning playwright Winnie Holzman and directed by Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall on Broadway). The play officially opens tonight, October 28, and continues through November 15, 2015 at the South End / Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.

Winner for the award in Overall Excellence in Playwriting at FringeNYC 2015, award-winning playwright Jim Shankman's The Screenwriter Dies Of His Own Free Will gets an extended run at the Davenport Theatre in NYC. 

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of John Pollono's LOST GIRLS. Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series 'Covert Affairs' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach (HBO's 'Girls'), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green.

Me & She Productions and ManyTracks Inc. present a revival of Evan Smith's THE SAVANNAH DISPUTATION, a saucy comedy exploring the imperfections of blind faith and the thorny issues of religious dogma. Directed by Katrin Hilbe, previews begin November 27 at the cell with opening set for December 6.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, will present stage Malloy's musical adaptation of an excerpt from Leo Tolstoy's monumental novel War and Peace, directed by Rachel Chavkin, with choreography by Sam Pinkleton.

Directed by Cynthia Nixon, this production features Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, and as announced, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon, Malcolm Gets and Matt McGrath. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays November 3 - December 27 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (TheRomulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street), with Official Opening Night set for Wednesday, November 18.
