Nestled away in the hills of Wimberely, the EmilyAnn Theatre is its own kind of secret garden. Standing as a lasting tribute to the memory of Emily Ann Rolling, this landmark of the community has been fulfilling its mission of 'Reinvesting in the human spirit through the performing arts' since 1998. An idea born out of tragedy, the EmilyAnn Theatre has flourished and become a place of acceptance and arts education. Theatrical productions, workshops, and classes give local aspiring actors the opportunity to nurture their artistic needs.

Rachel Barton Pine, a consummate violinist and master of the viola d'amore, leads Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) Baroque Conversations on Today, February 9, 2017, 7:30 pm, at Zipper Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. The program includes Vivaldi's Concerto in D major for Viola d'amore and Orchestra and Concerto in D minor for Viola d'amore and Orchestra, two of his eight concertos for viola d'amore. Also featured are Pisendel's Imitation des Caractères de la Danse and Locatelli's Concerto No. 12 in D major, from L'Arte del Violino, “The Harmonic Labyrinth.”
