ShopRite Makes Annual Donation of Holiday Turkeys

Fighting hunger in the community is at the very heart of ShopRite's charitable giving. Since 1999, ShopRite Partners In Caring, a year round hunger-fighting initiative, has donated more than 800,000 pounds of frozen turkeys to food banks in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland. This year's record donation of 60 tons of turkeys has already been loaded on ShopRite trucks and delivered to local food banks.

Music Director Jacques Lacombe and the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Orchestra present Handel's Messiah with the Montclair State University Singers and a quartet of international vocalists December 19–21 in Princeton, Neptune and Newark. Soprano Nathalie Paulin, mezzo-soprano Mireille Lebel, tenor Isaiah Bell and bass Gordon Bintner join the Orchestra for Handel's masterwork—a Christmastime tradition in concert halls across the world.
