Today we continue the 2014 edition of our annual BroadwayWorld feature series spotlighting the very best Tony Awards-related moments of all time with a special focus on one of the most revolutionary musicals of all time, COMPANY.

On Sunday, May 18th, 15 high school students from the Quest To Learn school in New York City gathered at the Producers Club in the Theatre District, where they met members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals: Jason Hellerstein, a junior majoring in Literature and President of the company for the upcoming year; Josh Friedman, a sophomore majoring in Psychology and the Producer of HPT167; Ally Covello, a sophomore majoring in neurobiology and member of the Hasty Pudding band (saxophone, clarinet, and flute); and Paris Ellsworth, a junior majoring in Psychology and cast member, who played Albanian psychic Macy Deadpeople in the Pudding's latest production, Victorian Secrets. They were soon joined by David Binder, the Producer of Hedwig and The Angry Inch on Broadway;associate producer Mark Berger, make-up artist and wig master Mike Potter, Barbara Crompton, Hedwig's company manager, and Sarah Marcus from Serino Coyne, the advertising agency for Hedwig.

The first set of presenters have been announced for the 32nd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards which will be held on Monday, June 2 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Set to present are Tony Award-winners Hal Prince & Bebe Neuwirth, Emmy Award-winner Valerie Harper, Scandal's Joe Morton, Dancing with the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Sandy Duncan. Cult classic HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is making waves on Broadway right now with Neil Patrick Harris, so Torontonians will be happy to know that they can catch a production of the edgy rock musical. The Lower Ossington theater is currently staging its own production of the musical about an East German transgender singer who fronts a fictional rock and roll band. The high-energy story tackles emotional plot points as the story goes on, as the audience learns that Hedwig, formerly Hansel, suffered a botched gender reassignment surgery in order to wed his love who wanted to move to West Germany.

The Village Voice, the nation's largest alternative weekly newspaper, will hold the 59th Annual Obie Awards tonight, Monday, May 19, 2014, at Webster Hall in the East Village, 125 East 11th Street. The Obies will be co-hosted by the distinguished actress Tamara Tunie, whose many memorable stage performances include the lead in the Public Theater's Troilus and Cressida, while her film and television credits include Devil's Advocate, FLIGHT, City Hall, Snake Eyes, Eve's Bayou, The Caveman's Valentine, The Red Road, 'Law and Order: SVU', '24', 'Sex and The City', 'NYPD Blue'.
