Before Broadway's biggest night on Sunday, June 7th, 37 productions will have opened on Broadway in the 2014-15 season. Of those productions, 10 were eligible for Best New Musical and 11 were eligible for Best New Play at the 69th Annual Tony Awards. In these new plays and musicals, 213 actors made their Broadway debuts in new shows.

Christian Slater has been announced to play Sir Galahad in the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005.

Today we are revisiting Broadway's biggest night in 2014 thanks to this weekend's upcoming presentation of the 2015 Tony Awards.

The Tony Awards today announced that more than 175 performers will join Josh Groban on-stage for a special performance - the most performers in a single number in Tony Awards history - at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday night for the 69th Annual Tony Awards. The 2015 Tony Awards will broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 7th 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay) and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ('The Wallis'), Deaf West Theatre and Cody Lassen present Deaf West Theatre's innovative new production of the eight-time, Tony Award-winning Best Musical Spring Awakening, opening May 28. This production is performed simultaneously in American Sign Language and spoken English by a cast of 27 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 7, 2015 in the Bram Goldsmith Theater. The Just For Laughs Festival, presented by Videotron in association with Loto-Quebec, returns this summer for its 33rd edition with more laughs and more stars.  This year, Broadway stars Neil Patrick Harris, Alan Cumming and Jane Lynch will appear alongside a comedian line-up that includes Mike Myers, Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Wanda Sykes, Trevor Noah, Bill Burr, Patton Oswalt, Weird Al Yankovic, Jason Reitman, Omid Djalili and Ellie Kemper.
