Roundabout Theatre Company has announced Jamie Brewer ('American Horror Story') as 'Amy' in the world-premiere production of Amy and the Orphans, by Roundabout Underground alumna Lindsey Ferrentino (Ugly Lies the Bone), with direction by seven-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis (She Loves Me, On the Twentieth Century).

Hedwig & the Angry Inch is a stage musical that first debuted at the Jane Street Theatre off-Broadway on February 14th, 1998, where it ran for 857 performances after closing on April 9th, 2000. An independent film adaptation directed by and starring co-creator/original Hedwig John Cameron Mitchell was released in 2001, but April 22nd, 2014 was the night Hedwig would finally make her Broadway debut. That production originally starred Neil Patrick Harris in the title role, followed by Andrew Rannells, Michael C. Hall, John Cameron Mitchell, Darren Criss, and Taye Diggs. The production won 4 Tony Awards (including Best Revival of a Musical), and had a successful run of 507 performances after closing on September 13th, 2015.

The Color Purple's Carrie Compere will join the cast of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in the role of Sally this March for the brand-new production at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).

Should the multi-award winner win the Oscar on February 26th, he will join a very select group of artists who have received an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Broadway/Cabaret said goodbye to Wesley Taylor, Broadway star and fan favorite in the NBC TV show 'Smash,' as God in AN ACT OF GOD on January 22. Steven J. Burge assumes the role starting tonight, January 24.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical begins performances on March 23, opening on Tuesday, April 4 and will run through May 6, 2017. More casting has just been announced!
