The producers of The Book of Mormon, and The Nederlander Organization, announced today that due to popular demand, eight additional weeks of performances will be added through May 11, 2014 at Hollywood Pantages.

More than 375 women -- leaders of industry, media, government, and the arts -- attended the Citymeals-on-Wheels 27th Annual 'Power Lunch for Women' at The Plaza Hotel on November 22, 2013. This by- invitation-only benefit, emceed by Katie Couric, is raised enough to provide more than 171,000 meals for New York's frail homebound aged. What kind of celebration would it be without the happiest show on Broadway? And that's why Kinky Boots, this year's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has joined the line-up of performances at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, it was announced today. The cast will perform Kinky Boots' glittering finale, 'Raise You Up' / 'Just Be' for the 87th Annual Parade, which will be broadcast live on NBC on Thursday, November 28 from 9 AM - noon EST (check local listings).

Torontonians who love musical theatre seem to have something to shout about this morning, as The Toronto Star is reporting the Broadway smash hit musical 'NEWSIES' will grace our stages in 2015 as part of the Mirvish 2014-2015 season. The newspaper states this is as yet unconfirmed by Mirvish Productions or Disney Theatrical, but suggests that Toronto will see 'an exclusive six-week premiere engagement at the Princess of Wales'
