?This just in! Honeymoon in Vegas, will play its final performance at Broadway's Nederlander Theater (208 West 41st Street) on Sunday, April 5, 2015, the show's producers announced today.

Casting has been announced for the Washington engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony Award-winning smash hit musical will play an exclusive two-week engagement at National Theatre. The production will begin performances June 9 for a limited two-week engagement through June 21.

Tonight, in Havana, Cuba, an exciting piece of history comes to an end. The final curtain will fall on RENT, the first musical to be performed in the country, in 50 years. It opened on December 24, 2014 and played an entire sold-out run, which ends tonight.

Garth Fagan, Tony Award winner for 'Best Choreography' in The Lion King, founder and artistic director of Garth Fagan Dance, is receiving the Apple Award from Wayne State University's Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance. 'A Conversation with Apple Award Recipient Garth Fagan' will be hosted at the Berman Center for the Performing Arts tonight, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Fagan will appear in an 'actors studio' style interview and question-and-answer session.

The North American Tour of the Broadway hit musical NEWSIES, premiered in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 26th at The Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is pleased to announce the nominations and presenters for TUTS' 13th annual Tommy Tune Awards, which will be held on April 21 at 7:30 p.m. at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Broadway In Boston has announced a third week has been added for the highly anticipated engagement of Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots). Performances at the Boston Opera House August 11 - 30, 2015. Kinky Boots is part of the 2014-2015 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

The highly anticipated Los Angeles premiere of Disney's NEWSIES begins performances next week on Tuesday, March 24 at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a 4 week engagement through Sunday, April 19. Disney Theatrical Productions and the Nederlander Organization are announcing that a day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of $20 orchestra seats will be held daily. Please note: there will be NO lottery on the official opening night: Thursday, March 26.

On March 16, 2015, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle announced its winners and special awards for excellence in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura County theater in the year 2014. Announcements were made at a ceremony held at the Beyond the Stars Palace in Glendale, hosted by Dixie Longate (Dixie's Tupperware Party) with musical direction by Corey B. Hirsch (LADCC award winner for A Man of No Importance in 2014).

The new Broadway musical, An American in Paris began previews on March 13 and will open on Sunday, April 12 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street.).
