Wharton Center is delighted to announce the first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE BODYGUARD will perform in Cobb Great Hall from October 17-22, 2017 and is part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center Series. It was announced to day that Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andr Bishop) has selected its leading cast for the hotly anticipated revival of Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady. HBO star Lauren Ambrose will play Eliza Doolittle, supported by Harry Hadden-Paton as Henry Higgins, Norbert Leo Butz as Alfred P. Doolittle, and Diana Riggwill be Mrs. Higgins in the upcoming production directed by Barlett Sher.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre has announced that the first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE BODYGUARD, will play the Fabulous Fox Theatre from Today, October 3 to Sunday, October 15.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has announced that the first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE BODYGUARD, will play Reynolds Hall from Tuesday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 26. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Sept. 29.

This sensational production will then head over to Fort Worth, where it will play at Bass Performance Hall August 1-6, 2017.

Grammy® Award-nominated and multi-platinum R&B/pop recording artist and film/TV actress Deborah Cox is starring as Rachel Marron in the first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE BODYGUARD during its Los Angeles premiere at Hollywood Pantages Theatre through May 21, 2017. Ms. Cox is not only one of the most incredible singers I have ever seen onstage, her renditions of the many hit songs performed by Whitney Houston in Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Oscar nominated Warner Bros. film, sound even better than the originals! In fact, in 2000, Cox collaborated with Houston to record the duet "Same Script Different Cast" for Houston's Greatest Hits CD, setting the precedent culminating with this production.
