Winner of the 1981 Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, 'Crimes of the Heart' is a 'dramedy' about the dysfunctional Magrath family and how they come together following tragedy. Heartfelt, zany and irreverent this play teems with humanity and humor as it examines the plight of three Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions.

Psittacus Productions, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit theater and multimedia company, announced today that the critically acclaimed 'CYCLOPS: A ROCK OPERA,' is extending due to popular demand. The final performance at NYMF will be Sunday October 9th at 11pm, at the 47th Street Theatre in midtown Manhattan. Featuring an original score of 24 genre-bending songs written by Jayson Landon Marcus and Benjamin Sherman, 'CYCLOPS' is a fast-paced, rock n' roll musical re-imagining of the only surviving Greek Satyr Play, the story of Odysseus' encounter with the monstrous Cyclops, and his adventures with the loud and crude rock band The Satyrs.
