Previews begin tomorrow for the New York premiere of the musical Alice By Heart with book by Steven Sater with Jessie Nelson, music by Duncan Sheik, lyrics by Steven Sater and directed by Jessie Nelson. Due to the heavy demand for tickets, MCC Theater (Bob LuPone, Bernie Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) announced a three week extension for the show and tickets are now on sale through Sunday, March 31st.

After playing Feinstein's/54 Below and The Duplex, 'Movies, Musicals, and Me: An Evening With Me, Halpert Evans' has found a temporary home. Beginning January 31st, the riotous cabaret spoof has been given a monthly slot at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Hell's Kitchen.

Barrow Street Theatricals announced today the rotating cast of guest actors through the end of January for the American premiere of the Nassim Soleimanpour and Bush Theatre production of NASSIM by celebrated Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour (White Rabbit Red Rabbit), featuring direction by Omar Elerian. THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's new contemporary cabaret club - will continue their New Writers Series with a concert version of Story of Three, the new musical by Heath Saunders, composer of Newton's Cradle and star of Broadway's Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812, on Sunday, November 25 at 9:30 PM.

On Sunday, November 11th, Feinstein's/54 Below celebrated the composing debut of Ben Caplan with his show Geeks, Misfits, and Nobodies.
