Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the nationally acclaimed 1,600-student summer arts day camp, announces a new partnership with GoodSearch, the Yahoo-powered search engine and shopping program that donates 50% of its revenue to selected American charities.

HBO and filmmaker Peter Berg will team up for the innovative new primetime series ON FREDDIE ROACH, directed and executive produced by Emmy(R) nominee Berg ('Friday Night Lights'). Presented by HBO and a co-production of Film 44 and Atticus Entertainment, the cinéma-vérité series focuses on Freddie Roach, the world-famous boxing trainer who owns and operates the famed Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, where he has produced a host of world champions.

For the next installment in this series, creator Jason Reitman has selected Billy Wilder's The Apartment (1960). Set to take part in the reading is Broadway veteran Natalie Portman, who will play Fran Kubelik. Also set to take part are JK Simmons as Sheldrake, Ken Jeong as Dobisch, Nick Kroll as Kirkeby, Mindy Kaling as Miss Olsen, Collette Wolfe as Sylvia, and Jake Johnson as Dr. Dryfeuss.

The Ensemble Studio Theatre, William Carden, Artistic Director, will present Robert Askins's Hand to God, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel and featuring Steve Boyer, Geneva Carr, Bobby Moreno, Megan Hill and Scott Sowers, at The Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street, beginning previews Thursday, October 27, at 7:00pm for an opening Monday, October 31, at 7:00pm.

EgoPo classic Theater is proud to announce the start of their year-long Festival of Jewish Theater with The Diary of Anne Frank. Wendy Kesselman's new adaptation of the classic play, written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, will be directed by EgoPo's artistic director Lane Savadove. Staged at the Prince Music Theatre, The Diary of Anne Frank opens October 20th and runs through November 6th.

Fountain House, an internationally recognized organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with mental illness, last night hosted a staged reading of Daughter of the Queen of Sheba, headlining celebrated actresses Joan Allen and Lauren Ambrose, with appearances by noted actor and screenwriter Dan Futterman and theatre, film and television actor David AaRon Baker. The one-night-only performance, based upon the acclaimed memoir by NPR'sJacki Lyden that recounts her experience growing up with a colorful and dramatic mother living with manic depression, drew a full house to the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, located at 68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues in New York City. Lyden served as Narrator of the performance, which employed slides to illustrate the action. The evening benefitted Fountain House, with support from NPR. Check out a photo from the event below!

Partita for Solo Violin, written by Glass specifically for Fain, brings together the 34-year-old violin virtuoso from Santa Monica and the 74-year-old legendary pioneer of American minimalism, to create a performance which will be a true cultural event for the 21st century.
