International stage and screen superstar Natalie Portman guest judge on tonight's episode of Bravo's Top Chef. While the details of tonights challenge have not been revealed, it may be a safe bet that tonights contestants will have a vegan-inspired challenge on their hands, as Portman has been an outspoken vegan for some time.

Tony® Award-winner Liev Schreiber and Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson, in her Broadway debut, will star in Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Gregory Mosher on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Performances begin Monday, December 28, 2009 and the official opening is Sunday, January 24, 2010. The limited engagement will run for 14 weeks only.
19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Award Nominees Announced

The movie awards season kicked off this morning when the nominees for the 19th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards were announced. The nominations were announced by 'At the Movies' co-host and New York Times theater critic A.O. Scott. The awards will be held Nov. 30 at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
Mike Nichols to Receive AFI Life Achievement Award

It was announced this weekend by the American Film Institute's Board of Trustees Chair, Sir Howard Stringer, that Nichols will receive the 38th AFI Life Achievement Award at a gala tribute to be held in Los Angeles next summer.
ZERO HOUR Gets Off-Broadway Premiere, 11/14

ZERO HOUR, Jim Brochu's award-winning play about the life of theatre legend Zero Mostel will make its Off-Broadway premiere at Theatre at Saint Clement's beginning Saturday, November 14th. Produced by Kurt Peterson and Edmund Gaynes in association with The Peccadillo Theater Company, the show will have its Opening Night on Sunday, November 22nd at 7 p.m. The limited engagement of ZERO HOUR will continue through January 31st.

Preview performances began Saturday, September 12th, for the critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of William Shakespeare's HAMLET with Jude Law in the title role, directed by Michael Grandage. The production officially opened last night, October 6th, at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). HAMLET will play a strictly limited run of 12 weeks only.

Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that I Got Sick Then I Got Better, written and performed by Jenny Allen, and directed by James Lapine and Darren Katz, will play performances on four consecutive Mondays beginning Monday, September 14, at 8pm, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery.
