Eric Yves Garcia to Premiere KEEPERS OF THE KEYS at Feinstein's/54 Below

After critically lauded performances in New York, London and Paris, award-winning performer Eric Yves Garcia (Margaret Whiting Award; Bistro Award for Singing Instrumentalist) debuts his anticipated new show, 'Keepers of The Keys', today, October 21st (9:30pm) at Feinstein's / 54 Below. The show is written and performed by Mr. Garcia, and is being presented by Treble Clef, LLC.  Mr. Garcia is proud to be joined onstage by Tom Hubbard on bass, Howie Gordon on percussion and Nick Russo on guitar.

Still witty, smart and funny at 95 years of age, the legendary comic Marty Allen was hosted (not roasted) at a Friars Club lunch.  Emmy Award winning Friar Bill Boggs interviewed Marty about his long career in show business.  Marty worked as an opening act for stars such as Sarah Vaughan, Eydie Gorme and Nat King Cole gained enormous fame when he teamed up with singer Steve Rossi and made 44 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show.  In 1961 and 1962 Allen appeared on Broadway in Let It Ride! at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre and then went on to perform in the pre-Broadway tour and Broadway performances of I Had A Ball.

Westport Country Playhouse to Host Free Family Festivities Kick-Off Party

Westport Country Playhouse invites the community to a Family Festivities Kick-off Party on Sunday, November 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission-free and open to the public, the event will celebrate the Playhouse's upcoming 2016-17 Family Festivities Series, which begins on Sunday, November 20. The six-show series will feature musical productions based on classic and new children's stories.

Joseph Lorenzo Wise has had a good year.  On Valentine's Day he released "Papaparazzi"a contempopera take on the Beethoven Fifth.  In March he released "SONGBOOK" his first album of ten live performances.  On The Full Moon Father's Day Summer Solstice, June 19, Wise celebrated his CD release with a powerful performance and the video "Summertime", the surprise hit from the CD and in July, the "On the 20th Century"original cast member was back in the tap shoes for "I MISS MY BROADWAY SHOW".

Westport Country Playhouse Announces 2016-17 Family Festivities Series

Westport Country Playhouse announces its 2016-17 Family Festivities Series on selected Sundays from November through April, featuring musical productions based on classic and new children's stories.  The six-show series includes the favorite tale, "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat," and a new show, "Twinkle Tames a Dragon, The Musical," by Katharine Holabird, the author of the popular book series, "Angelina Ballerina." Performances are at 1 and 4 p.m. Tickets, at $20 each, are now on sale.
