The Citadel Theatre's Artistic Director, Daryl Cloran, and Executive Director, Chantell Ghosh, announced today the Beyond The Stage (BTS) Series line-up for the 2018/19 Season. Artists Rep presents the World Premiere of Magellanica, by E.M. Lewis, directed by Damaso Rodriguez from January 20 through February 18 on the theatre's Morrison Stage. Magellanica is a five-part epic play written by Oregon playwright E.M. Lewis. This production is made possible through major funding from the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) Creative Heights Initiative and the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Magellanica is a part of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New Works.
Playwright Nassim Soleimanpour is bringing his original show to the 2018 Perth Festival. This semi-autobiographical show, set to run February 20th-25th, has a unique twist. At each performance, he will invite a different actor to read the previously sealed-up script for the first time in front of the audience, ensuring that no two performances will ever be alike.
