It looks like Kristin Chenoweth may be returning to Broadway sooner than we thought! I recently had the opportunity to talk to the Kristin about a variety of topics. She filled me in about her next big project, I Am Anne Hutchinson, and shared some insights into the expectations of Hollywood, specifically for women. Of course we also talked about her plans for the future, which include a return to Broadway in the near future in Tammy Faye Bakker - The Musical!
Happy New Year, BroadwayWorld! As we eagerly anticipate the amazing musicals and plays coming up in 2016, we're taking a moment to look back at the significant Broadway closings of 2015.
Japan can't get enough of PRINCE OF BROADWAY (see video below), and that's too bad, because there are just five performances left at Osaka's Umeda Arts Theatre. On opening night, after a solid ten minutes of applause after the final curtain, Prince and the rest of the creative team went out one more time. Despite the show's success overseas, an official announcement has not yet been made regrading a run on Broadway... but that hasn't kept us from wondering. So what's next for PRINCE? We're keeping our appendages crossed for an announcement soon and we'll keep you posted with updates!

Tina deVaron, a deeply rooted New York musician, singer and hit songwriter, will appear at the chic downtown venue, Pangea, on November 9th at 7:30pm to celebrate the independent re-release of her CD, Tuckerman's Ravine.
Billed as 'a new musical', the world premiere of Prince of Broadway at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo salutes legendary Broadway producer/director, Harold Prince. Co-directed by Prince himself and Susan Stroman (who also choreographs), the evening celebrates an illustrious career spanning over six decades from the 1950s up to the present day, during which time Hal Prince has produced and/or directed more than 30 Broadway shows, winning a record 21 Tony Awards along the way.
PRINCE OF BROADWAY's Ramin Karimloo has just shared an inside look at one of his many costumes from the new musical. With a photo of himself in a full Superman outfit, Karimloo writes on Instagram, 'And so there it is. The full get up. Another character I get to have fun with in The Prince of Broadway...'
