BlueRare Productions has announced the cast and creative team for its Off-Broadway premiere of the probing and politically-charged mash-up comedy, Abraham Lincoln's Big, Gay Dance Party, by Aaron Loeb.

The American premiere of This Wide Night starring two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco and Tony nominee Alison Pill begins previews Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street). This Wide Night will open on May 16, 2010 and runs through June 20, 2010.

DUSK RINGS A BELL, starring Kate Walsh ('Private Practice,' 'Grey's Anatomy') and Paul Sparks (Broadway's HEDDA GABLER) began previews Wednesday, May 19; and officially opened Thursday, May 27; it played a limited engagement and will close on Sunday, June 20 Off-Broadway at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16 Street).

The Samuel French, Inc. Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival announces the 40 semi-finalists for its 35th annual season. Chosen from hundreds of submissions by playwriting workshops, university theatre programs, and professional companies both in the U.S. and abroad, these 40 plays will be presented July 13th - 18th at the Lion Theatre in Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street). Out of these plays, six finalists will be chosen by the Samuel French, Inc. editorial staff to receive publication and licensing contracts.
