Transport Group (TG), the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and 2007 and 2010 OBIE Awards, has announced that its production of the New York premiere of See Rock City & Other Destinations, music by Brad Alexander; book and lyrics by Adam Mathias; directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, will extend one week through Saturday, August 14 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, 229 West 42nd Street.
Circle Theatre Presents Bach at Leipzig, Previews Begin 8/19

Circle Theatre is pleased to present the North Texas premiere of Bach at Leipzig, written by Itamar Moses. Preview performances are Thursday, August 19; Friday, August 20; and Saturday, August 21 (matinee). The production officially opens Saturday evening, August 21 at 7:30pm, followed by a post-show party with the cast & crew.

The Savannah Disputation, written by Evan Smith, plays the Mainstage July 28 through August 22. Tickets are $26 to $54, with discounts available to groups, seniors, military, and students. Producers Randall L. Wreghitt (The Miracle Worker, Grey Gardens, Lieutenant of Inishmore) and Jana Robbins (Ragtime, Little Women - The Musical) have announced that they will bring The Great Game, a new drama/play by D. Tucker Smith, to Broadway in the 2011-2012 season. Tony nominated director Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall, Adrift in Macao) will direct the production. Casting and theatre will be announced in the weeks to come.

Tony Award-winning producer Andy Sandberg (Hair, The Last Smoker in America) will present a staged reading of the provocative new play, A Perfect Future, by David Hay (The Maddening Truth) with direction by Tony Award-nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore). Prior developmental readings of the play were presented by Naked Angels Theater Company (Next Fall).
