Two Classy Broads, LLC announce the premiere of the original musical SEASONS, presented as an Equity Showcase for the inaugural Times Square International Theatre Festival.

Celebrated rhythm and blues, soul and funk acts from the '60s, '70s and '80s will perform some of their best-loved hits at 105.7 The Oasis Valentine's Love Affair at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Roy Arias Studios & Theaters, located in the Times Square Arts Center at 300 West 43rd Street, will present the first Times Square International Theater Festival from January 16 to 22, 2012.

South Florida's finest talent became superstars on July 9 at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre Guild's eighth annual Palm Beach Idols. The fundraiser raised approximately $7,000 for the not-for-profit Maltz Jupiter Theatre Conservatory of the Performing Arts.

With a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy, lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn, choreography by Marguerite Derricks and direction by Gregory Boyd, WONDERLAND will open at Broadway's Marquis Theatre on Sunday, April 17, 2011, and performances will begin Monday, March 21.

JD Lawrence, Jackee Harry, Darrin Henson, Eva Pigford, Dave Hollister, Tammy Turner, and Red Grant will star in Lawrence's play ME & MRS. JONES, Eurweb reports. Lawrence will also direct the production.

Long before New York had a fringe festival, New York had the Ensemble Studio Theatre's OCTOBERFEST, a marathon of new, developing plays crammed together on two floors of the theatre company's home at 549 West 52nd Street. The first OCTOBERFEST was in 1981.

Actors' Equity Association announced today that Charles Randolph-Wright is the recipient of the 2010 Paul Robeson Award. Created in 1974, the Award recognizes a person who best exemplifies the principles by which Mr. Robeson lived. The award will be presented to Mr. Randolph-Wright at the October 8, 2010 General Membership meeting at the Union's headquarters in New York City.
