As much as I love people reading my recaps, if you have not yet seen the episode and do not want to be spoiled, turn back now…. 'cause I offer you no mercy. This episode is. a. doozy.  As we all know, Liza's got a pretty big secret she's keeping, period, which she has been keeping since the beginning of the series. Performance Update Announced for The MET Chamber Ensemble's Zankell Hall Show

  Carnegie Hall today announced an updated program and artist listing for The Met Chamber Ensemble's concert on Sunday, December 13 at 5:00 p.m. in Zankel Hall led by Artistic Director and Conductor James Levine. Pierre Boulez's Derive 1 replaces the previously announced Boulez work sur Incises on the program. In addition, Poulenc's Le Bal masque has been added to the program and will be sung by baritone John Moore. Messiaen's Quatuor pour la fin du temps concludes the program as previously announced.

The Oratorio Society of New York (OSNY), New York's standard for grand choral performance, will mark its 2015/16 season with performances of two major symphonic choral works written within the past 20 years. Leading OSNY in its 143rd season will be Kent Tritle, in his 11th year as music director.

Utah Opera tests the limits of friendship, fidelity, and credibility in the production of Mozart's 'Così fan tutte' to see if love can indeed conquer and resist all. Conducted by Will Crutchfield and directed by Crystal Manich, this is the third production of Utah Opera's 2014-15 season. The performances are from March14 to 20 at the Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre at 7:30 p.m., with a matinée performance on Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m.

Dorset Theatre Festival will present The Mousetrap, Dame Agatha Christie's masterpiece of mayhem and mystery, from August 14th through the 30th at the Dorset Playhouse. The Mousetrap, in addition to being one of Christie's most famous works, has the distinction of being the world's longest continually running play. The original production, at London's Ambassador Hotel, has been running continuously since 1952!

American tenor Paul Appleby closes his 2013 -2014 with a strong finish. His latest recording is today's (April 28, 2014) Delos release of the world premiere recording of Dear Theo, a CD of three song cycles by celebrated American composer Ben Moore. In early May, he makes his company debut with the Washington National Opera singing the role of Tamino under the baton of conductor Philippe Augin in the company's spring production of Mozart's The Magic Flute.
