Profiles Theatre continues its 25th Anniversary Season with the Midwest premiere of Cock by Mike Bartlett, directed by Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox. The production runs tonight, February 14 - April 6, 2014 at The Main Stage, 4139 N. Broadway. The press opening is Thursday, February 20 at 8:00pm.

Crowd It Forward and DC Slices Food Truck To Feed Homeless Veterans In Washington DC

On December 21, 2013, charity crowdfunding website Crowd It Forward and veteran-owned food truck DC Slices will feed lunch to homeless Washington DC veterans. This 'Random Act of Crowdfunding' combines support for a veteran-owned small business with assistance for veterans in need. The program, entitled 'The Least We Can Do Is Buy You Lunch' launches in our nation's capitol and expands to cities across the country in 2014, where Crowd It Forward will partner with a local veteran-owned food truck in each city. Hudson Players Club to Present First EAT OUR SHORTS! Short Plays Festival, 11/26-30

To lead off its 66th consecutive season, the Hudson Players Club (HPC), Quebec's longest running community theatre troupe, is breaking new ground with the launch of the Eat Our Shorts! Play Festival, a week-long cavalcade of short plays. Four different companies comprised of local artists will present a range of exciting plays from November 26th to 30th at the charming theatre in the former train station in Hudson (28 Wharf Road, Hudson QC J0P 1H0). Each performance will feature two plays, and festival passes are available. (Play details follow.)

Profiles Theatre announces that actor Paul Dillon returns to the role he originated in the 1992 world premiere of Hellcab by Will Kern for Profiles' holiday season revival of their hit production. Once again, Profiles Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox returns to direct a cast of 34 with Dillon joining the cast as the beleaguered cab driver and ensemble member Eric Burgher assistant directing. Profiles' production runs at The Main Stage, 4139 N. Broadway, tonight, November 8, 2013 - January 12, 2014. Please note new opening date: Wednesday, November 13, at 8:00 pm.

Profiles Theatre announces an additional four weeks of performances of the Midwest premiere of Bachelorette by Leslye Headland, directed by Profiles Co-Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox. The full cast, Eric Burgher (A Behanding in Spokane, Kid Sister), Hillary Marren, Linda Augusta Orr, Rakisha Pollard, Amanda Powell and Adam Soule will continue with the production through the extension. Profiles Theatre announces the American premiere of Neil LaBute's In a Forest, Dark and Deep, to open the company's newest theater space, The Main Stage, 4139 N. Broadway, next door to its current venue. With the acquisition of the former National Pastime space, Profiles now operates 3 theatres in total, including its long-time home at 4147 N. Broadway, as well as The Second Stage at 3408 N. Sheffield. In a Forest, Dark and Deep, directed by Joe Jahraus and featuring Co-Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox, runs April 13, 2012 - June 3, 2012 with the press opening on Thursday, April 19 at 8:00pm. The previously announced production of Neil LaBute's The Break of Noon will be postponed until next season.
