Blind Lemon Blues-based upon more than 60 Blind Lemon Jefferson songs - will return to the York Mainstage in Fall 2009. Performances begin September 8th. Spring 2010 will see the Off-Broadway premiere of the new musical Yank!. Performances begin in February 2010.

The Irish Repertory Theatre has announced that it will extend it's highly successful run of Brian Friel's ARISTOCRATS until March 29, 2009. The production is directed by Charlotte Moore. Aristocrats. One of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Irish theater, master storyteller, Brian Friel is at the top of his form with this touching story of a once powerful and aristocratic family in its days of decline.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Theatre on Film and Tape Archive is to tape for its archives The Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Aristocrats. It was announced previously that Aristocrats has been extended until March 29, 2009.

Jason Donovan, Tony Sheldon, Oliver Thornton and Clive Carter lead the cast of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical, written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and directed by Simon Phillips, which had its first preview on 10 March 2009, Officially opens with a Press Night on 23 March and Gala Night on 24 March 2009. Bookings are currently open for performances until 26 September 2009.

The YORK THEATRE COMPANY (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) is presenting the return engagement of its acclaimed production of ENTER LAUGHING: THE MUSICAL. Performances began January 21st, with an official opening night that was celebrated on January 29th. The return engagement was scheduled to run until March 8th only, but today's New York Times reports that the show has extended through March 20.
