Monique, who is engaged to Ben, sleeps with Ryan, a singing telegram man and Lenore, her fiance's sister, while her fiance Ben is sleeping with a closet prostitute named Melanie, who happens to be his sister Lenore's lesbian lover. Throw in a couple other random hookups and a lude moment with Melanie's father and there you have it. One hour and forty-five minutes of the most those awkward bedroom moments that we know all too well, and try all too hard to forget.

Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, a musical written by novelist Stephen King with original music written by rock musician John Mellencamp, will get a new lease on life, it seems. The musical was set to premiere at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia from April 15 through May 10, 2009, but script development issues suspended the premiere. Nashville Gab and thatnashvillesound.com are now reporting that the musical will now debut at the Alliance in September 2010, with A book and CD recording of the songs published prior to its opening.

Cygnet Theatre is proud to present the San Diego premiere staged-reading of acclaimed writer Stephen Metcalfe's Tragedy of the Commons. The cast will include Jim Winker, Manny Fernandes, Monique Gaffney, Francis Gercke, Veronica Murphy and Tim West and will be directed by Stephen Metcalfe. Tragedy of the Commons will be presented ONE NIGHT ONLY at Cygnet's Old Town Theatre on Monday, December 7th, 2009 at 7:30pm. A wine and appetizer meet-and-greet will precede the reading, and a talk-back with the cast and playwright, Stephen Metcalfe, will immediately follow the reading.

Alton Fitzgerald White, who currently plays the starring role of Mufasa in Disney's 'Lion King' at Mandalay Bay, will present an evening of holiday music with two charity benefit concerts on Friday, Dec. 4 at the intimate Cabaret Showroom at the Liberace Museum, 1775 E. Tropicana Ave. at Spencer. White is donating all proceeds from ticket sales to benefit the Cabaret Fund for the non-profit Liberace Foundation & Museum
