Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival Announces First Wave of Performers

Tickets for the 2015 Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival (SBLOLFEST) are now available for purchase at www.sblolfest.com featuring an all-star line-up of headline comedians. This year's line-up will include Kira Soltanovich (Tru TV's “How To Be A Grown Up” and “The Tonight Show”), Brad Williams (Showtime Comedy Special “Fun Size”), Dan St. Germain (Comedy Central), Steve Lemme & Kevin Heffernan (Broken Lizard, “Super Troopers”, “Beerfest”), Cheech Marin (Cheech & Chong) Willie Barcena (Showtime), Monique Marvez, (Showtime), Steve Trevino (Showtime) Jeff Garcia (Showtime) and festival finale night Chris Hardwick (“@Midnight”, “Talking Dead”, “The Nerdist”) Andy Daly (Comedy Central's hit  “Review”). Shows will take place over two back-to-back weekends in Santa Barbara's Historic Theatre District at the Lobero and Arlington Theatres. The Kennedy Center Sets 2015 Page-to-Stage New Play Festival Lineup

The Kennedy Center hosts its 14th annual Page-to-Stage new play festival from Today, September 5 to Monday, September 7, 2015, featuring more than 50 theaters from the D.C. metropolitan area, all with a mission to produce and support new work. The 14th Annual Page-to-Stage event showcases more than 40 new plays by female playwrights and includes nine works that are part of the citywide Women's Voices Theater Festival, which officially begins on September 8.

5th The Outstanding Filipino Americans In New York Awards Set Oct. 31 at Carnegie Hall

In its fifth edition, The Outstanding Filipino Americans in New York (TOFA-NY) Awards honor 15 organizations and individuals who have inspired the community with their passion, conviction, and achievements. Presented by AARP, TOFA-NY caps the month-long Filipino American Heritage celebrations in the New York tri-state area. This year's TOFA-NY Awards ceremony is slated for 8 p.m. on October 31 at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall.

SIDE SHOW's Alice Ripley & Emily Skinner Reunite in Provincetown This Week

In 1998, Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner became the first actresses ever nominated together for a Best Actress Tony Award, for their performance as the conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton in the original Broadway production of 'Side Show.' This week, September 1 & 2 at 7:00 PM, Mark Cortale will reunite the two heralded stars of that musical for his ground-breaking Broadway @ The Art House series in Provincetown, featuring SiriusXM Star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host.

TEXTS&BEHEADINGS to Receive World Premiere at The Folger

Teachers Release New Book for Students Enrolling in College
