Rose Art Museum Announces Spring 2018 Exhibitions

The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University has announced its spring exhibitions–Jennifer Packer: Tenderheaded, Blueprint for Counter Education, and Praying for Time, selections from the Rose collection at the turn of the millennium–on view March 2 - July 8, 2018.  Remaining on view will be Tony Lewis' site-specific mural Plunder, and Mark Dion's permanent installation The Undisciplined Collector (2015). A free public opening reception to celebrate the museum's spring exhibition season will be held 7–9pm on Thursday, March 1. 

Lynn Nottage's SWEAT Makes Indy Debut at Phoenix Theatre

Sweat by Lynn Nottage, who won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for the script, is a fiery story of identity, racial tension, and economic politics in the industrial, blue-collar world of the American labor force.

Australian Actor-Activist to Make U.S. Debut with Solo Show JACK CHARLES V THE CROWN This Spring

Performance Space 122 and New York Live Arts present the U.S. premiere of Jack Charles V The Crown by award-winning indigenous Australian actor, musician, and activist Jack Charles, who spent a significant portion of his 72 years homeless, an addict, a thief and a regular throughout the Australian prison system. These performances mark the U.S. debut of 'the grandfather of Indigenous theatre,' (The Guardian). After New York, Jack Charles V The Crown will run March 29-April 8 at Canada Stage in Toronto.
