Playing through Saturday, June 26 Sutton Foster makes her Cafe Carlyle debut in a program entitled 'Sutton Foster at The Carlyle.' Yesterday, June 14, the Crosby Street Hotel hosted the premiere of 'Hot In Cleveland' in New York City. The new television show stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White. Over 350 guests including current and past New York City high school students, and the 23 mentors and 6 guest mentors who have participated in TDF's Open Doors, the theatre arts mentoring program that TDF founded in 1998 with playwright Wendy Wasserstein, will attend this year's graduation on Monday, May 24 at Professional Performing Arts School (328 West 48 Street).

Mo Rocca visits a theater where some comedians are packing 'em in reading passages from the books aloud... just for laughs. The show is called Celebrity Autobiography, and in it comedians read from celebrity autobiographies.

Tony Award-winner Leslie Uggams (Hallelujah, Baby!) opened her exclusive three-week engagement - her first New York cabaret appearance in 18 years - at the Cafe Carlyle last night, March 30. 'Leslie Uggams: Uptown Downtown' will play through Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the famed night spot. The cast included stars Malcolm Gets, Cady Huffman, Kathleen Turner, Jeanine Tesori, in addition to John Ellison Conlee, Christopher Gatelli, Adam Gwon, Julia Jordan, Moisés Kaufman, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Richard Kind, Nancy Opel, Steven Pasquale, Mo Rocca, Jonathan Marc Sherman, Ted Sperling, Tracie Thomas, Alicia Will, and David Yazbeck.

Creative teams and casting have been set for the four brand new musical which make up the Monday, February 8, 2010 'The 24 Hour Musicals' held at The Gramercy Theatre (127 East 23rd Street, between Park and Lexington Aves) - doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm performance, it has been announced by producers The 24 Hour Company and the Exchange.
