I Move Forward is an exciting fund raising project on Oct 25th 2010 that unities various members of the Toronto theatre community in the fight against cancer. BWW has learned that Gavin Creel (of Broadway's HAIR) will also be lending his support, and are thrilled to have the opportunity to talk with Marc Kimelman (who created the event) about how people can help.

The 31st Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards for the 2009/2010 Season were handed out in a star-studded ceremony on the evening of Monday, June 28th in Toronto. BWW was on hand for the pre and post parties as well as the awards, and brings you photo coverage of all the nominees and winners on the biggest night of the year for Canadian Theatre.
Acting Up Stage's popular Dark Night Cabaret series was kicked off in early February with Unexpressed: An Evening of Songs from the Heart featuring Michael Hughes with special guest Callandra Dendias. These are two of Toronto's most promising young stars, and here we have them singing Suddenly Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors.
Patty Jamieson, Jacquelyn French and Jeff Lillico head a superb cast in a ravishingly beautiful production of The Light in the Piazza playing a limited 3-week run at the Berkeley Street Theatre.
