The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts presents American Ballet Theatre in it's third appearance at Bard College on Friday, October 9 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, October 10 at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, October 11 at 2 p.m. The October weekend program features Alexei Ratmansky's Piano Concerto #1, Paul Taylor's Company B, and a world premiere by Mark Morris, performed in the Fisher Center's stunning Sosnoff Theater. Misty Copeland, an American Ballet Theatre principal ballerina and one of the stars of Broadway's ON THE TOWN, will perform 'Paganini,' a solo created by ABT star Marcelo Gomes at Career Transition For Dancers' 30th ANNIVERSARY PEARL JUBILEE: A STAR-STUDDED RETROSPECTIVE on Monday, September 28.

Directed by George Nelson and starring Misty Copeland, the film opens in theaters and will be available on VOD October 14th.

The Tony Award nominated revival of On The Town concludes its run on Broadway tonight, September 6, following 28 previews and 368 regular performances, making this the longest-running Broadway production of the show since the 1944 original. ON THE TOWN began previews on September 20, 2014 and officially opened on October 16, 2014 at the Lyric Theatre. Original cast member Megan Fairchild will return to the acclaimed Broadway revival of On The Town for one final turn as Ivy Smith on Sunday night. Misty Copeland will perform the Sunday matinee.
