The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is excited to present its 2014 holiday show, A Christmas Story, the Musical. The Ordway-produced musical comedy will run Nov. 29-Dec. 28, 2014, for a total of 36 performances. Rehearsals begin today for A Christmas Story, The Musical - the sensational hit Seattle can't stop talking about. After premiering at The 5th Avenue Theatre in 2010, A Christmas Story, The Musical spent two wildly successful holiday seasons in New York City and spurred a national tour.

Theatre Harrisburg presents live, on stage at Whitaker Center, the original version of the popular movie classic A CHRISTMAS STORY. Favorite scenes will come to life with Ralphie, his Red Ryder BB gun, the frozen flagpole and even the iconic leg lamp. Opening Friday, November 7, other performances are scheduled for November 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22 & 23.

Big League Productions is thrilled to announce casting for the 2014 - 2015 national tour of A Christmas Story, The Musical. The beloved holiday movie will be brought to life on Broadway stages across the country. This sparkling new production will launch with one performance in Owensboro, KY followed by engagements in Appleton, Memphis, Dallas, and culminating over the Christmas holidays with a three week run at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis.

Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini AM and leading Australian theatre producer John Frost AM today announced the principal cast for their new production of Cole Porter's smash-hit musical comedy Anything Goes, which will tour Australia in 2015.

Southwestern University is proud to present Gypsy, with book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, today, March 26-30, 2014. Gypsy is directed by Rick Roemer. Performances will run at 7:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Alma Thomas Theater. Tickets are $10-20.

Geva Theatre Center's 2014 Fielding Studio Series continues with Stranded on Earth by Eric Coble and directed by William Brown. The production begins performances on March 6 and runs in the Fielding Nextstage through March 23.

A Christmas Story, The Musical ends its return engagement at The Theater at Madison Square Garden today, December 29, 2013. The production began previews on December 11, ahead of an opening night on December 12.

Woe to anyone who shoots their eye out, for not being able to see A Christmas Story: The Musical at the Woodlawn would be a tragedy. Though their 2012 non-musical production of the classic Holiday film was joyous, this version is superior.

Reprising their roles are Dan Lauria (Lombardi, 'The Wonder Years,' 'Sullivan and Son') as Jean Shepherd, John Bolton(Spamalot, Contact, Titanic, 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Gossip Girl') as the Old Man, Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mother and Caroline O'Connor (Chicago, Moulin Rouge) as school teacher Miss Shields. Eli Tokash (Mary Poppins) plays Ralphie at certain perforances, Noah Baird as little brother Randy, and Jake Lucas (Newsies, Far From Heaven), donning the famous spectacles will take on the lead role of Ralphie.

A CHRISTMAS STORY holds a special place in the hearts of many Clevelanders.
