Deadline writes that actress and singer Minnie Driver will star opposite Steven Weber in CBS's comedy pilot HAPPY LIFE (formerly titled JOE TIME).

Based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, THE RED TENT will debut on DVD today, March 10 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. 

According to Deadline, acclaimed comedian Eddie Izzard has siged on for Jenji Kohen's upcoming HBO pilot THE DEVIL YOU KNOW. Nadia Alexander and Ismenia Mendes have also joined the project, formally titled NEW WORLD.

Eddie Izzard will bring his massive Force Majeure world tour back to the U.S., including a stop in Santa Rosa at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts (50 Mark Spring Road in Santa Rosa) on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 8 p.m. The New York Times calls Izzard, “Sheer Comic Genius. He is the most brilliant stand-up comedian of his generation” Tickets are $71 and $51 and go on sale Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. and may be purchased online at wellsfargocenterarts.org, by phone at 707.546.3600, and in person at 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa.

Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy HARVEY directed by Lindsay Posner, will open at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 6 February, running until 21 February. First produced on Broadway in 1944 where it ran for four years, this new production stars James Dreyfus as Elwood P. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as his sister, Veta.
