To accommodate the high demand for tickets, American Theater Company (ATC), 1909 W. Byron Street, has added performances for its critically acclaimed Chicago premiere of The Royale by Marco Ramirez (Marvel's Daredevil, Orange is the New Black), directed by ATC Ensemble Member Jaime Castañeda. This newly revised script premieres in Chicago prior to its production at The Bush Theatre in London.
Steppenwolf for Young Adults' (SYA) first production of its 2014/15 season is George Orwell's Animal Farm, a world premiere adaptation by Althos Low. SYA's Artistic and Educational Director Hallie Gordon directs the production in Steppenwolf's Upstairs Theatre. The SYA 2014/15 season explores the theme, 'Create a Movement: The Art of Revolution.'
