Harrie Dobby's THE GAP Set for FringeNYC, 8/14

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) and playwright Harrie Dobby are pleased to present the world premiere of THE GAP, directed by Jamie Biddle. Performances run Friday, August 14 @ 5 pm, Saturday, August 15 @ 7:15 pm, Sunday, August 16 @ noon, Monday, August 17 @ 7 pm and Tuesday, August 18 @ 2:15 pm at the Flamboyan Theatre at the Clemente, located at 107 Suffolk Street (between Rivington & Delancey). Tickets are available online at www.fringenyc.org.

The critically acclaimed Olivier Award-winning Best New Play, King Charles III, is soon to open on Broadway this fall. The highly anticipated play about Britain's future king, will begin previews October 10, 2015, with opening night set for November 1, 2015 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street, NYC). Daniel Sharman, Jeremy Davidson, Glynn Turman Join Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2015 Season; Rehearsals Begin!

 Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) kicked-off rehearsals for the first two productions of its 61stseason. Rehearsals are in full swing for the first two shows, Off the Main Road on the Main Stage, featuring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Kyra Sedgwick in the World Premiere of a play by Pulitzer Prize-winner William Inge, and Legacy 0n the Nikos Stage, with Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht and Drama Desk Award-winner Eric Bogosian in Daniel Goldfarb's World Premiere. Both casts arrive in the Berkshires ahead of performances that begin on June 30.

Young Vic's Acclaimed Revival of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE Will Bow on Broadway This Fall

Direct from two completely sold-out engagements in London, producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater will bring the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE to Broadway this fall.  The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards — winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong) —will begin previews Wednesday evening, October 21 and open on Thursday, November 12 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45 Street.  A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.

TheatreLAB to Stage COCK, Beginning Tonight

TheatreLAB, Richmond's home for unexpected and evocative performance, is proud to present Mike Bartlett's thrilling new play, COCK, as the fourth show in their second full season. The production will run tonight, June 5 - 20 at TheatreLAB's venue, The Basement (300 East Broad Street).

Williamstown Theatre Festival  has announced further programming and special events to join the 2015 summer season including: the legendary Late-Night Cabaret, the ever popular Fridays@3 Reading Series, and this summer's Developmental Workshop Series. Williamstown Theatre Festival Selects 2014 L. Arnold Weissberger Award Winner

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced that Abe Koogler's Kill Floor is the winner of the 2014 L. Arnold Weissberger Award. The play, which will premiere at Lincoln Center Theater's LCT3 this fall, will be introduced to audiences at a reading at Williamstown Theatre Festival on Friday, August 7 at 3:00pm on the Nikos Stage. Lila Neugebauer will direct both the reading and LCT3 production.

BWW Review: Mike Bartlett's Dark Comedy COCK Continues at the Unicorn Theatre in Kansas City

Mike Bartlett's dark comedy Cock continues on the Jerome Stage at The Unicorn Theatre through May 17. Jeff Church directs the Unicorn production with a title that may be a turn-on or turn-off, but one that definitely gets everyone's attention. Produced on the intimate Jerome stage the play utilizes no props, scenery, or specific costumes to give all the focus to the drama that takes place on the small stage.
