Disney/ABC Television Group announced today that its industry-leading ABC Player app -- which makes ad supported full episodes of ABC's daytime and primetime programming available to viewers the day after they air - has surpassed more than 10 million downloads, 200 million episode views and over 1.31 billion ad impressions on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and Windows 8. Additionally, the app recently launched on Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD.

The 2013 Boston Pops season, May 8-June 15, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, will present a season-long tribute to the world of movie music, along with programs featuring a wide variety of American musical styles, including jazz, bluegrass, country, gospel, pop, classic standards from the 50s and 60s, and show-stopping songs of Broadway and the American Songbook. For the programs focusing on the season theme, 'Best of Hollywood Film Music,' audiences will hear their favorite music from classic movies and today's popular soundtracks performed live by the Boston Pops, while the accompanying movie clips are projected onto a giant screen suspended above the orchestra. The Society for the Preservation of Music Hall (SPMH) presents its first silent film - Buster Keaton in Steamboat Bill, Jr., featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer and acclaimed theatre organist Clark Wilson - at Cincinnati's Music Hall Ballroom on Thursday, May 9 at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM. "Oz The Great and Powerful" will have a special advance screening for the public, with prizes, on Thursday, March 7 at 8:30 pm (doors open at 8 pm); the El Capitan engagement of "Oz The Great and Powerful" is through April 30. The film, directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved wizard character. El Capitan guests will also get to see an exclusive display of costumes from the movie.
