New CBS Legal Drama BULL Opens with Over 15 Million Viewers

The series premiere of BULL won its time period with 15.5 million viewers while building on its lead-in among adults 18-49, leading CBS to a premiere Tuesday win, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day rating for Sept. 20.
New Michelle Obama Branch Library Opens in Long Beach

The City of Long Beach and the Long Beach Public Library Foundation recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Michelle Obama Branch Library designed by LPA Inc., one of California's largest sustainable design firms. City officials, community members and key contributors to the project gathered at the event in North Long Beach to celebrate the official opening to the public.
Five Student Poets Announced in White House Committee's National Student Poets Program

The fifth annual class of the National Student Poets Program (NSPP) the nation's highest honor for youth poets has been announced by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH) in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the nonprofit Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The students were appointed by First Lady Michelle Obama at a ceremony earlier today in the State Dining Room at the White House. As part of an appointment ceremony, each of the students did a reading of an original poem.
