Producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated hit musical ROCK OF AGES have announced that Ashley Spencer (Grease, Priscilla..) will star in the leading role of Sherrie - the "small town girl" who "took the midnight train goin' anywhere" - beginning Thursday, May 10 at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre (220 W 44th Street). Emily Padgett, who has performed the role since November 2011, will play her final performance on Tuesday, May 1. During the interim week, the role will be covered alternately by Katie Webber and Tessa Alves.

Martin Markinson and Jeff Tick are pleased to announce that Monday, March 12th marks the 100th anniversary of the Little/Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street), which opened on March 12, 1912 with John Galsworthy's play THE PIGEON. The theatre is currently home to the smash hit musical Rock of Ages. A private centennial celebration at the theatre is confirmed for Thursday, May 24, 2012. At the request of the office of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, ROCK OF AGES performed their classic anthems "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Here I Go Again" at The New York Giants Super Bowl Victory Ceremony at New York City Hall on Tuesday, November 7, 2012. Following the performance, members of the New York Giants football team were welcomed on stage to receive Keys to the City, presented by Mayor Bloomberg.
