David Adkins, Corinna May, Barbara Sims & Walton Wilson to Star in Berkshire Theatre Group's BENEFACTORS, 7/9-26

Berkshire Theatre Group presents Michael Frayn's Benefactors, a summer stages critic's pick by The New York Times at The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge. Opening Night is July 12 at 8pm. Preview performances begin on July 9 at 7pm and the production closes July 26 at 8pm.

The Rabbit Run production of the farce, 'Noises Off,' was well directed, well acted, well technically presented and turned out to be a laugh riot! I saw this show in London was convulsed with laughter. The PP show had much the same effect on me. For anyone wanting a fun summer experience, the trip to Madison, the hospitality and hometown welcome of the RR community, as well as the quality of this production, all say, 'You all come!' You won't regret it.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, welcomes Broadway stars Billy Porter, Victoria Clark, Terrence Mann, Andrea Martin and Shuler Hensley as gala award presenters for the 64th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards ceremony tonight, May 22nd (4PM) at the legendary Sardi's Restaurant. In addition to being acclaimed stage performers, the stars are also former recipients of the esteemed Outer Critics Circle Award. The national organization will post award winners in 24 Broadway/Off-Broadway categories.

Aurora Theatre Company Extends TALLEY'S FOLLY Through 5/24/2015

Due to popular pre-sale demand, a year in advance, Aurora Theatre Company announces that it will extend Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning TALLEY'S FOLLY, the second fully staged production to be performed in the company's second stage performance space, Harry's UpStage. The company will add a sixth show to the existing performance weeks and will extend the original run dates an additional two weeks. Aurora Theatre Company pays homage to Lanford Wilson with "The Talley Trilogy." Acclaimed Bay Area actress and director Joy Carlin (After the Revolution, Body Awareness, Jack Goes Boating, Awake and Sing!) directs the first entry in this series of three interrelated plays.

'Copenhagen,' is a fictional account of an actual event during World War II, two physicists exchange heated words and profound ideas. One man, Werner Heisenberg, seeks to harness the power of the atom for Germany's forces. The other scientist, Niels Bohr is devastated that his native Denmark has been occupied by the Third Reich. Their encounter is human: full of memories and memory lapses, as well as affection and denial.

For its tenth season, the Northern New England Repertory Theatre Company (NNE Rep) presents George Bernard Shaw's romantic comedy Arms and the Man on the Sawyer Center stage at Colby-Sawyer College.
