Thrills, Chills and Music are all part of the Sands Theater Company's 2010-2011 Season. Here is what we have planned.

The final week of the run includes the debut of a new program at Florida Rep, Third Thursday Theatre Night, a brand new package the theatre has developed for its neighbors on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. THE PRODUCTION COMPANY is now ready to unveil our beautiful, larger space - The Lex Theatre in Hollywood's Theatre Row - and we are thrilled to announce the first three plays of our 2011 Season!

Beginning on Nov. 18 with the hit comedy, Noises Off, Florida Rep will bring a bus from Sanibel Island to the beautiful Fort Myers River District for a night on the town and an evening of theatre at its finest for just one low price.

The Garden Theatre, located at 160 West Plant Street in historic Winter Garden, is pleased to announce its third full theatre season, running from October 2010-May 2011. In addition to the five full-length theatrical presentations, the season will be dotted with one-weekend events such as music and dance concerts, as well as movies and special events, which will be announced over the next several months. Ticket prices range from $10-25 and will go on sale to the general public August 1, 2010.

Folding Chair Classical Theatre presents Conor McPherson's Olivier Award-winning THE WEIR for a limited run October 14-November 6.

Retro Productions is proud to kick off their 6th season with Michael Frayn's Benefactors. Directed by Peter Zinn (Holy Days, Retro Productions; Rumspringa, 45 Bleecker), the 6-time 2010 New York Innovative Theatre Award nominated company brings Benefactors back to New York City November 3 - 20, 2010.

Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Carl Forsman, Artistic Director/Wayne Kelton, Executive Director) today announced their 10th anniversary season celebrating the work of Michael Frayn, author of such acclaimed hits as Noises Off and Copenhagen. First will be the US premiere of Alphabetical Order, based on the revised version performed at the Hampstead Theater for their 2009 revival. Mr. Forsman will direct. This will be followed by the 25th Anniversary production of Benefactors this spring.
