Tenor Anthony Kearns Returns to Chicago, 10/15

Wexford Institute and the Irish American Heritage Center present Anthony Kearns in a solo concert of favorite songs from Ireland to Broadway to popular classics on Saturday, October 15 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available at irish-american.org. Kearns insists that 'People need to come out and enjoy themselves...tap their toes, forget their woes, clap their hands, sing along, and have a good ol' time!'

Producers Jeffrey Finn, Jill Furman, John N. Hart Jr., Patrick Milling Smith and Roy Furman have announced the on-sale Ticketing schedule for two-time Tony Award nominee, Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Alan Rickman (Private Lives, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the Harry Potter franchise) making his eagerly-anticipated return to Broadway starring in the World Premiere of SEMINAR, a new comedy by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Peabody Award winner Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, The Understudy, Omnium Gatherum, The Family of Mann, Spike Heels, NBC's upcoming 'Smash'). Directed by acclaimed Obie Award winner Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, The Aliens, Tigers Be Still, Kin, The Coward) in his Broadway debut, the production will also star Tony Award nominee Lily Rabe (The Merchant of Venice, Steel Magnolias, this summer's lauded A Doll's House at Williamstown) and Obie Award winner Hamish Linklater (The School for Lies, Twelfth Night, 'The New Adventures of Old Christine'). SEMINAR will begin previews on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at The Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) with an Opening Night set for Sunday, November 20 at 6:30 PM.

Tribeca Film Festival Announces Heineken Audience Award Winner GIVE UP TOMORROW

The 10th annual Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), co-founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, and presented by founding sponsor American Express, announced the winner of the Heineken Audience Award - Give Up Tomorrow - tonight at Eye Beam in New York City. The film's director, Michael Collins, will receive a cash prize of $25,000.

2011 Tribeca Film Festival Announces the Return of the Tribeca Drive-In

The 2011 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by Founding Sponsor American Express, today announced the return of its signature free community events: the Tribeca Drive-In (April 21-23), Family Festival Street Fair (April 30), Tribeca/ESPN Sports Day (April 30), and free panel series, "Tribeca Talks: Pen to Paper" and "Tribeca Talks: Industry" (April 23-30).

Full Cast Announced for A DELICATE BALANCE at Almeida Theatre

Lucy Cohu (Julia), Diana Hardcastle (Edna), Ian McElhinney (Harry), Imelda Staunton (Claire) and Tim Pigott-Smith (Tobias) will join the previously announced Penelope Wilton (Agnes) in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by James Macdonald which will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 May - 2 July, with press night on 12 May 2011. A Delicate Balance will be designed by Laura Hopkins with lighting by Guy Hoare and sound by Ian Dickinson.

Almeida Theatre Closes THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY, 7/31

Michael Attenborough will direct Dimitri Leonidas, Ian McElhinney, Justin Salinger and Ruth Wilson in the world premiere of a new stage adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's Through A Glass Darkly. Previewing from June 10 with press night on June 16 and booking until July 31, Jenny Worton's new adaptation of Through A Glass Darkly has designs by Tom Scutt, lighting by Colin Grenfell and sound and music by Dan Jones.
