Artistic Director David J. Miller tackles another iconic play from the catalogue of 20th century gay dramatic literature with Mart Crowley's groundbreaking THE BOYS IN THE BAND. Opening in 1968, one year before the Stonewall riots, these boys were at the head of the parade for the Gay Pride movement. Miller has gathered a roster of nine estimable actors who provide the heart and soul to bring Crowley's types realistically to life at the intimate Plaza Black Box Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts.
Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, is returning to East Lansing this fall. JERSEY BOYS, part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway Series at Wharton Center, will be featured Tuesday, October 13 - Sunday, October 18, 2015 in the Cobb Great Hall.

ODC Theater, one of the West Coast's major centers for contemporary dance and performance, announced today its newest class of resident artists: Gerald Casel, Maurya Kerr, Nicole Klaymoon, and the duo of Sheldon B. Smith and Lisa Wymore. The announcement of these five distinguished artists falls on the ten-year anniversary of ODC Dance Commons, whose upstairs Studio B will serve as venue for a one-night-only event offering a rare and candid look into the creative process of the new resident artists. Titled Resident Artists Unplugged, the event takes place Sunday, August 30 at 6pm.

"Yesterday we lost our "Swan' and our 'Car Man" - Jonathan Ollivier was one of the most charismatic and powerful dancers of his generation: An intensely masculine presence tempered with tenderness and vulnerability made him the perfect casting for a string of triumphant roles in the New Adventures repertory including 'The Swan", the enigmatic "Speight" in "Play Without Words" and his final role as Luca in "The Car Man" which he was due to dance at last nights final performance at Sadler's Wells.
TOTTENHAM'S OWN is a celebration of work made by the local community and will include workshops and performance nights for home grown talent in the Tottenham area.
