In a golden anniversary season celebrating the theatre's past, present and future, there is little dust on this perennial favorite

British talent turned out this evening for the 16th Moet British Independent Film Awards. The winners were announced at the star-studded ceremony, held at Old Billingsgate which was hosted by BIFA Winning actor James Nesbitt.

The Sydney season of the devilishly cheeky, fun-filled Broadway musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will end on December 8, it was announced today by producer George Youakim from James Anthony Productions. The season had already been extended due to popular demand and wide-spread critical acclaim; however all good things must come to an end, with the final performance on Sunday December 8 at the Theatre Royal.

Ashton Kutcher (No Strings Attached, 'Two and a Half Men') gives the performance of a lifetime in Jobs, a riveting story of a true American visionary, a man who let nothing stand in the way of greatness. Jobs will be available on Digital HD starting today, November 12, 2013, two weeks before it's available on store shelves. Fans can own the movie on Blu-ray and DVD as well as rent it On Demand starting November 26, 2013, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

The Daily Mail reports that Robert Lindsay will join Rufus Hound and Katherine Kingsley in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, directed by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell at the Savoy Theatre. The show begins in the West End on March 10 after runs at the Manchester Opera House (beginning February 12) and the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury (beginning February 26).

The Barbican today announced a stellar program of events for spring and summer 2014, pushing the boundaries of all major art forms for its diverse audiences. This new program builds on the most successful year ever for the Barbican, with attendances for events at the Centre exceeding 1 million for the first time, an increase of 36% on 2011/12. In this Olympics year, box office receipts also rose 33%, and the Barbican's commercial income increased by 35%.
