Jimmy Smits, last seen on Broadway in 2003 portraying Juan Julian in ANNA IN THE TROPICS, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Nilo Cruz about a Cuban family bringing the cigar business to Florida, is now starring in the Emmy Award-winning Showtime television drama DEXTER. On DEXTER, which stars Michael C. Hall in the leading role, Smits plays the role of the Miami Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado.

The stars of the Showtime Network were out in force on Wednesday September 24th to celebrate the upcoming premieres of 'Dexter' and 'Californication'. Michael C.
