The Guthrie announced today that it will present Sweet William, Michael Pennington's highly original one-man show that looks at Shakespeare's life side-by-side with his work. Begins December 11

The production of LONE STAR LOVE, currently playing an engagement at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, has canceled its Broadway engagement this fall.

PS Classics will record the cast album of the recent much-acclaimed production of Lone Star Love on March 2nd. Directed by Michael Bogdanov (Olivier Award-winner for The War of the Roses), LONE STAR LOVE is inspired by the play The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare, conceived and adapted by John L. Haber, with music and lyrics by Jack Herrick, and contributions from Michael Bogdanov, Bland Simpson and Tommy Thompson. Randy Skinner (2001 Tony® nominee, 42nd Street) is choreographer. Discussions are underway for a commercial transfer.

Off-Broadway's hit musical LONE STAR LOVE stars Clarke Thorell and Julie Tolivar (Hairspray) perform the ballad 'Count on My Love' on ABC's 'The View' on Tuesday, January 18th.
